Key Responsibilities to include:
  • To design and produce sketch illustrations depicting client briefs in line with Architectural briefs.
  • Working Drawings
  • Construction and Site meetings
  • Landscape Architectural implementation.
Secondary Responsibilities to include:
  • Project Management and Administration
Minimum Criteria and Requirements of Applicants:
  • Master of Landscape Architecture ML (Prof).
  • Registered with SACLAP.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience.
  • Proficient in use of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good design experience.
  • Commercial experience.
  • A high standard and level of communication.
  • A commitment to providing excellent client service through efficiency and the quality in production of work.
  • Ability to work independently, but willing to assist colleagues and team members in times of pressure or their absence.
  • Sufficiently experienced to analyse, identify and resolve problems.
  • A use of own judgement and willingly makes decisions without assistance.
  • Enjoys working as a Landscape Architect and will from time to time work overtime.
  • Can monitor and manage own workflow and follow up commitments of others effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Builds relationships and works collaboratively with all project team members.
  • Is reliable and willingly accepts the responsibilities that go with the job.

Key Responsibilities to include:
  • The person will be appointed on a contract Specific to the City centre project for Steyn City run from our joint venture SCAD office, for the current construction contract specific to portions 1 -14 of the project
  • To produce construction documents in line with the Architect’s brief
  • Produce working drawings in REVIT, co-ordinated with other disciplines
  • Attend site meetings
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction on behalf of Architect
Secondary Responsibilities to include:
  • Project Management and Administration
Minimum Criteria and Requirements of Applicants:
  • National Diploma in Architectural Technology or a BAS degree
  • Registered with SACAP with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Proficient in use of Revit
  • A high standard of communication
  • A commitment to providing excellent client service through efficiency and the quality in production of work
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
  • Sufficiently experienced to resolve problems and to make decisions when required
  • Plans and organises workflow to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
  • Builds working relationships
  • Is reliable and willingly accepts the responsibilities that go with the job
