We are grateful for the valuable time and commitment of our esteemed panel of judges and look forward to their insights in the 36 hour design challenge presentations by the 5 Design Scholarship Awards Africa finalists on the 28th of September in Pretoria.

The Boogertman+Partners Design Scholarship Awards Africa is judged by a panel of professionals across the spectrum of activities within the built environment. This year we have 2 practicing architect principals from West and East Africa, an entrepreneurial property developer, an academic and practitioner, the editor of a leading architecture magazine and a leading architect within the Johannesburg Boogertman + Partners practice. The 5 candidates (selected from the 61 portfolios received from various institutions in Africa by senior architects within Boogertman+Partners) will present their response to the 36 hour design challenge brief to the panel of judges on the 28th of September 2018. Once the judges have reviewed the presentations the final R160 000 Scholarship award winner will be announced at an awards luncheon on the same day.
