We’re proud to have participated in a recent feature on CNN Africa’s Connecting Africa, “In Focus: The Continent’s Infrastructure Projects”, an episode exploring how major infrastructure investment is driving economic growth, employment and improved living standards across the continent.

The segment accompanies Boogertman + Partners directors Wessel van Dyk and André Wright to the site of Cape Winelands Airport, along with Nicholas Ferguson (managing director of RSA.AERO, owner and operator of the airport) and Adele Klingenberg (director of strategy and planning), where they discuss the vision for Cape Town’s second international airport.

The CNN team also took in a visit to our Stellenbosch studio, where Wessel shared insight into the creative inspiration and strategic thinking behind the architecture and design. The segment provides a first look at some of the design development and renders we’ve created for the project.

The episode also covers Cairo’s Monorail, Cassava Technologies’ AI factories and the Lobito Corridor.
