Prime Logistics Warehousing space for Grit Urban Logistics, a new entity entering the Logistics Warehousing market of Kenya. The project is located near Nairobi's International Airport, in Machakos County, Nairobi.

As a ‘spec’ logistics warehouse, the brief was determined by Grit/Hodari’s expected uptake in the market. 9 500sqm of standard warehousing with cross docking, and support facilities & about 900sqm of ancillary office space.

The warehouse needed to comply with FM2 floor spec & 14,5m eaves for high racking, and natural ventilation. THE Warehouse can be sub-divided to suit tenant requirements and has two storey offices of 600sqm and 300sqm to serve the two warehouse spaces. The first warehouse also has a mezzanine picking platform connected to the loading areas and the office building. Support facilities of about 300sqm by way of guardhouse, service rooms for MEP, Fire water tanks & sprinkler system, and waste water treatment plant is provided, with borehole water as the main water supply source. Solar water heating is also employed.
