On 23 January, our office in Nairobi celebrated the launch of Issue #1 of Ubunifu: Projects from various school of architecture in Kenya.
The digital edition of the publication is now available on our website under ‘Publications’ (or simply click here or on the cover to read it now). This commemorative magazine offers an overview of the incredible work produced during the Ubunifu Student Programme, an eight-week mentorship initiative for architecture students run through our Nairobi studio in collaboration with leading architecture schools in 2025.
The programme offers hands-on studio experience and close mentorship, with a strong focus on design thinking and presentation skills. It challenges students to respond meaningfully to the realities of our built environment by creating spaces that are inclusive, sustainable and rooted in user identity, dignity and culture.
