We are proud to announce that Boogertman + Partners has had a spectacular success with three project wins at the Africa Property Investment Awards 2019 (API Awards). The three awards reflect the regional strength of the Boogertman + Partners practice in Africa across a range of sectors and collaborations with clients and local partners. SU Towers in Accra, Ghana won Best Commerical Office Development, the Crawford International School in Nairobi, Kenya won Best Architectural Design and the first Green Star rated building in Mauritius, the Mon Tresor Business Gateway office park, won Best Green Building.
Established to recognise and promote excellence in Africa’s rising real estate sector, the API Awards, have become an essential benchmark for measuring success for the industry. Awarded at a gala dinner during the Africa Property Investment Summit in Johannesburg, 2-3 of October 2019 at the Sandton Convention Centre The awards provide peer recognition for the pioneering world-class work and services on the continent.
Anton Koekemoor (Director, Boogertman + Partners ) firmly supports the influential role of partnership in Africa. “Our local partners in Africa are the key to our success. Multicad Architects have been pivotal to projects like SU Towers in Accra, Ghana. We are working on future projects which continue the close collaboration between South African and Ghanian design and implementation teams”.

As the design and lead architect responsible for the successful Mon Tresor project in Mauritius “Local implementation partners like Architect Studio LTD are critical for delivering successful and contextually appropriate projects. Mon Tresor is a pilot for adjusting the international green star rating tool to a Mauritian context, and it required on-the-ground local knowledge and skillsets to get it’s 4 Star Green Star rating successfully.”
