The AHEAD awards is a global celebration of hospitality experience and design. The awards are dedicated to the relentless pursuit of the exceptional, recognising design in all its forms, and the guest experiences created in hospitality projects worldwide. This year's awards had 82 entries from 48 projects in 14 countries.
In evaluating this category the 16 judges were looking for design that provides an element of unique surprise for the guest while contributing to the overall experience of the hotel. “In a lot of the projects we reviewed we were looking at the connection to the outdoor spaces,” says judge Pallavi Dean (ROAR).
