One of Nairobi's most visited destinations
Located in Nairobi, Two Rivers Mall is the largest shopping mall in East & Central Africa and is part of Phase One of the Two Rivers Lifestyle Centre. The mall offers over 66 000sqm of retail space with more than 160 shops covering everything from shopping, entertainment and fitness. It also has the first Carrefour hypermarket in the region. Two Office Towers sit on top of the mall with 9 and 8 floors each.

With its reclaimed waterfront that links to the Giichi and Ruaka tributaries, Two Rivers Mall is designed organically with an emphasis on curves, contours and flow.

Designed to environmental best practice guidelines on sustainability, the Mall incorporates reclamation of the riverfront, protection of the riparian reserve, waste water treatment, potable water treatment in Reverse Osmosis and a 1.2mw photovoltaic array on the roof of the Mall serving all public lighting for the mall and precinct security.

Architecturally, the mall offers a high street shopping experience with open aspects that provide natural ventilation. This integration of indoor and outdoor is further emphasized with skylights featured throughout, bringing in natural dappled sunlight on all floors. The use of pattern and timber detailing on the bulkheads and columns, add colour and texture within a Kenyan context.

The Mall offers a wide range of family fun activities including a dancing fountain, skate park and theme park, which boasts Africa’s tallest Ferris wheel. To date it is one of the most visited attractions in Nairobi with over 10 million visitors in the past two years.
